Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 12, 2026

Tickwork (“Tickwork”, “we”, “us”) provides a team task-management app at tickwork.co. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers data you enter into Tickwork and data we access, with your permission, through Google APIs.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address, and company/team details you provide when you sign up.
  • Content you create — tasks, projects, notes, calendar events, checklists, time entries, and messages you send to our assistant (Checki).
  • Google account data — only if you choose to connect Google (see below).
  • Usage & device data — basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

Google user data we access

Connecting your Google account is optional and can be disconnected at any time. When you connect it, you grant Tickwork access to:

  • Google Calendar (.../auth/calendar) — to show your calendars inside Tickwork, create and update events, and keep a dedicated “Tickwork” calendar in sync.
  • Gmail — send (.../auth/gmail.send) — to send emails you compose and explicitly approve inside Tickwork.
  • Gmail — read (.../auth/gmail.readonly) — to let Checki summarize and triage your recent messages and turn them into tasks, on your request.
  • Basic profile email (openid, userinfo.email) — to identify which Google account is connected.

How we use Google user data

  • To provide the features you ask for: showing calendar events, sending emails you approve, and helping you act on your inbox through Checki.
  • Email you ask Checki to send is only sent after you review and confirm it.
  • Message content read for triage is processed to generate the summary or task you requested and is not retained beyond what is needed to fulfill that request.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Limited Use disclosure

Tickwork’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the user-facing features of Tickwork, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, and we do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative consent for specific messages, it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

AI processing

Tickwork’s assistant (Checki) uses a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate responses. When you ask Checki to act on your email or calendar, the relevant content is sent to the AI provider solely to produce the result you requested. It is not used to train third-party models.

Storage, retention & deletion

  • OAuth tokens are stored securely and are accessible only to your own account.
  • You can disconnect Google at any time in Settings → Integrations, which deletes the stored tokens and calendar references.
  • You can request deletion of your Tickwork account and associated data by contacting us.

Sharing

Content you create in Tickwork is visible to members of your team/company as required by the product (for example, a task and its collaborators). We share data with service providers strictly to operate Tickwork (hosting, database, AI processing) under confidentiality obligations.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security so each user’s data is isolated. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.
